I am American, I also celebrate the religion of Islam, I want people to know that the two can coincide. We celebrate a god, just likeany other religion, just because it’s not Capitol G od, doesn’t mean that it’s the wrong god. Allah is my god, the Koran is my bible and America is still my country. Just like in every culture there are stereotypes we have to live with. I don’t have to wear a hijab, i choose to wear it, because i want to be modest. I do not get treated badly because i am a women, i get treated differently, and there is nothing wrong with that.
